Maxwell LeVan Just Made the Song of the Summer

Encino, California Apr 2, 2021 (Issuewire.com) - Music producer, internet personality, and record executive Maxwell LeVan just dropped his first single of 2021 - and we weren't ready for it. 

This song comes after a nearly 8-month hiatus from releasing music, as LeVan has gotten increasingly popular on YouTube for his producer reaction videos and cover songs. A few months ago, Maxwell announced that he was working in the studio every day and that new music was on the way. In March, he finally announced that his first song back would be entitled "LOVE REAL" and released on April 2, his 18th birthday. Posting the same snippet on his social media for the past month, most of the song remained a secret. On March 31, LeVan uploaded the full song on his Patreon in preparation for release day.

The song begins with a fuzzy, underwater sound, and quickly fades into a crisp, perfectly mixed vocal on a complex but digest-able beat. Maxwell LeVan seems to have found the secret sauce, having only spent around 2 hours on recording and production of the track. If this proves to be a consistent formula, there is no doubt that we are witnessing a star in the making. 

Friday morning, the numbers are still unclear but LeVan took to his Instagram story to share his gratitude for iHeart radio, which had been playing the song all morning. He also added "I see it all. thank you."
