Antiques and Collectables Centre Brings the Old and New Events Together in 2018

The shop is located at Innovation Drive near Clough Road, Hull. Heading the shop-slash-trade centre is the husband-and-wife tandem of Peter and Liliana Marsden. They would like to showcase their collection through these three amazing events: Saturday Craft Fair, Biker Fair, and Record Fair.

The First Event, the Saturday Craft Fair will be happening this July14th, and they will give £20 per pitch (10% off multiple bookings). The Second Event, the Biker Fair will be on July 22nd at 7:30pm. Attendees would surely enjoy pool and darts for free. The Third Event, the Record Fair will be on August 25th. Watch out for these events and take advantage of their incredible offers.

According to the couple, they weren’t any like this shop in Hull, and so they decided to take the risk and a bold step. The Marsden’s invested in Clough Road, a neighbouring industrial retail area, where according to Peter, they chose “because there is a lot of free parking here.” Moreover, Clough Road is on the path of becoming a bigger retail area, which attracted the couple to invest there.

Establishing their shop here, the Marsden’s were able to provide their business Palm Emporium space for their wide, diverse mix of antiques and collectables for sale. Their shop is complete with stalls of perfume, jewellery, vinyl records and genuine items that every collector would love to add to the items in their hands.

Among the many antique Hull, the Palm Emporium also has an added feature called the Picnic on the Lawn Victorian Tea Room. In this room, they serve tea, coffee, and cakes to encouraging their visitors to have a relaxing experience while shopping for items in the antique centre. Palm Emporium also assures the foods and drinks available are the best quality.

Their foods and drinks have been scored by the Environmental Health Department to have 5 out of 5 doors rating. Upstairs of the antique centre is an extensive space, which the Marsden’s allow to be hired by groups such as bands, amateur dramatics, and other community groups. But the centre’s forthcoming monthly affairs are Palm Emporium’s monthly fairs starting this July 14th.

Their series of fairs include the Craft Fair, followed by Stamps/Books Fair, Computer Fair, and Fishing/Shooting Fair. All of these events are open to the public beginning at 10 am to 4 pm, and throughout the event, hot foods and drinks are available for everyone to enjoy. There are also other activities such as slide and castle, as well as kids bouncy for the children.

There is also face painting and all other activities. Admission is free, and stalls are available everywhere. According to Peter Marsden, they’ve thought about running fairs before opening the antique centre. Now that they’ve open the emporium, they instead incorporated the two along with charitable efforts. Peter and Liliana Marsden said there would be more events in the coming months for everyone to enjoy.
