Bahamas Destination Wedding, The Bahamas premier wedding consultants and planners have expended its beach wedding offerings announcing its newest venue for Nassau beach weddings – Nuptial Beach located on picturesque Cable Beach, the Bahamian Riviera.

In making the announcement, Bahamas Destination Wedding’s Resident Wedding Planner and officiant Glenn Ferguson said, “We are delighted to be able to add Nuptial Beach as our newest venue for Nassau Beach weddings given the results of Expedia’s 2014 American Altar Report which showed an overwhelming 43 percent of American Destination wedding Brides desiring to have their wedding on the beach. It is the ideal location for beach wedding, ”

Asked why Nuptial Beach, Ferguson said that the Expedia Report also showed that Forty-two percent of married Americans, if given the chance for an “I Do-Over,” would choose a destination wedding the second time around. And again referencing to that same report said “Destination brides prefer the beach.”

While Nassau and Paradise Island are home to some of the finest beaches in the world, Ferguson goes on to say that because most are occupied by the major touristic resorts, “they are usually really crowded and not ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. Nuptial Beach provides a great alternative right on Cable Beach and within twenty minutes of any of the resort including those at Baha Mar and Atlantis on Paradise Island, making it ideal for a beach wedding in Nassau.”

About Nuptial Beach

Nuptial Beach is a white powdery sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters located at the western end of Cable Beach on the island of New Providence, the home of the world famous capital city of the Bahamas – Nassau.

Cyclone Idai's death toll has risen above 750 in the three southern African countries hit 10 days ago by the storm, as workers rush to restore electricity, water and try to prevent outbreak of cholera. In Mozambique the number of dead has risen to 446 while there are 259 dead in Zimbabwe and at least 56 dead...

Macron hopes older protester gains "wisdom" after injuries

Mar 25, 2019

PARIS — French President Emmanuel Macron has told a newspaper he hopes a 73-year old yellow vest protester who suffered serious head injuries after being charged by police in Nice, gains "wisdom" over the incident. Anti-globalization activist Genevieve Legay remains in hospital Monday after police advanced aggressively on people defying a protest ban Saturday. An Associated Press reporter saw Legay, who was waving a rainbow flag marked "Peace," fall to the pavement, blood spilling from her head. In an interview published in Nice Matin Monday, Macron suggested Legay didn't behave "responsibly," saying that "fragile" people shouldn't attend "places that are...

UK leader meets Cabinet as she fights to stay in power

Mar 25, 2019

LONDON — British Prime Minister Theresa May will be meeting with her Cabinet to map out a strategy for delivering Brexit as she fights to stay in power. The session comes after a weekend of speculation that she may be forced to resign to win approval of her twice-rejected Brexit deal. Lawmakers are preparing to debate proposals for a series of votes on alternatives to May's deal, which could take control of the process away from the government. Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on Monday claimed May had "chickened out" on delivering Brexit this week. Writing in the Telegraph, he...

Global shares stumble following retreat on Wall Street

Mar 25, 2019

BANGKOK — Shares tumbled in Europe and Asia on Monday after Wall Street ended last week with a broad retreat. Thailand's benchmark dipped following a general election that appeared likely to keep the incumbent, junta-backed prime minister in power. Wall Street was roiled Friday by fresh signs that global economic growth is slowing. The jitters spurred a sell-off in stocks and sent bond yields sharply lower, flashing warning lights for a possible recession. Among the triggers was news that factory production in the euro currency alliance fell at its steepest rate in about six years, according to surveys of manufacturers'...

US experts revisit breast implant safety after new concerns

Mar 25, 2019

SILVER SPRING, Md. — U.S. medical authorities are revisiting the safety of breast implants used by millions of American women, the latest review in a multi-decade debate about their health effects. An expert panel assembled by the Food and Drug Administration meets for two days starting Monday to discuss the latest evidence about the risks of illness and complications with the devices, which are used for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The FDA is grappling with a recently confirmed link between the implants and a rare form of cancer. Additionally, many women are pushing the agency to address longstanding — but...
